Welcome to the Bushwick
Buddies website. This site was created for the enjoyment of people who were born and/or raised in the Bushwick Section of
Brooklyn, New York in the
1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. We have come together to share our stories, our memories and
our pictures with others who were there at the same time. There are currently over 625
members, thousands of pictures, and stories and history of the area.
Bushwick is on it's way back although it has a long way to go. On the site we
have current pictures of most areas and streets in Bushwick and they are great. We also have
old pictures and some that were taken during the "burning" years.
We've got members in many states, and in 4 foreign countries. So come on, join
us.
